In order to maintain your heart health, it is important to follow a healthy heart diet. There are many different foods that you should avoid or limit, and still other foods and nutrients that you should try to include as much as possible.

Changing your eating habits can significantly lower your chances of developing heart disease.

What should you avoid or decrease intake of to lower risk of heart disease?

You should try to stay away from the trans fats and hydrogenated oils found in processed and refined foods. Margarines and spreads have trans fats, as do fried and fast foods. Trans fats and hydrogenated oils are chemically altered, and as such the body is not able to process them and they can be dangerous.

Also, try to reduce your sugar intake from snacks, cakes, candy bars, etc. as these sugars eventually become fat buildup in the body. Also, try to keep your carbohydrate intake at a minimum (pasta, potatoes, breads) as excess carbohydrates stimulate the production of triglycerides (fat) which are one of the four indicators of heart disease.

 What should I add to my diet to keep my heart and cardiovascular system in healthy working order?

A heart health diet should include fiber, fruits and vegetables. Green, leafy vegetables and Vitamin C rich fruits are the best, as they can protect you against heart disease with their antioxidant abilities.

Healthy heart recipes should include extra virgin olive oil and garlic – both have been shown to reduce LDL (bad) cholesterol levels.

Add Omega 3 fatty acids to your diet, especially DHA and EPA found in fish oil. These two important Omega 3 fatty acids are the most therapeutic, and can significantly decrease bad cholesterol(LDL) as well as raise good cholesterol(HDL).

Can I get all of these healthy heart nutrients from my diet?

Unfortunately with today’s processing methods, most of the important nutrients in the foods we eat are depleted or removed altogether. So unless you follow a strict healthy heart diet of organic foods harvested in the finest environments which are delivered fresh to your door daily (we didn’t think so), it makes sense to supplement all of the important nutrients your body needs to function properly.

सालों बाद वह लड़की गंभीर रूप से बीमार पड़ गयी. लोकल डॉक्टर ने उसे शहर के बड़े अस्पताल में इलाज के लिए भेज दिया. विशेषज्ञ डॉक्टर होवार्ड केल्ली को मरीज देखने के लिए बुलाया गया. जैसे ही उसने लड़की के कस्वे का नाम सुना, उसकी आँखों में चमक आ गयी. वह एकदम सीट से उठा और उस लड़की के कमरे में गया. उसने उस लड़की को देखा, एकदम पहचान लिया और तय कर लिया कि वह उसकी जान बचाने के लिए जमीन-आसमान एक कर देगा.
उसकी मेहनत और लग्न रंग लायी और उस लड़की कि जान बच गयी. डॉक्टर ने अस्पताल के ऑफिस में जा कर उस लड़की के इलाज का बिल लिया. उस बिल के कौने में एक नोट लिखा और उसे उस लड़की के पास भिजवा दिया.
लड़की बिल का लिफाफा देखकर घबरा गयी, उसे मालूम था कि वह बीमारी से तो वह बच गयी है लेकिन बिल कि रकम जरूर उसकी जान ले लेगी. फिर भी उसने धीरे से बिल खोला, रकम को देखा और फिर अचानक उसकी नज़र बिल के कौने में पेन से लिखे नोट पर गयी, जहाँ लिखा था,” एक गिलास दूध द्वारा इस बिल का भुगतान किया जा चुका है.” नीचे डॉक्टर होवार्ड केल्ली के हस्ताक्षर थे.
ख़ुशी और अचम्भे से उस लड़की के गालों पर आंसू अपक पड़े उसने ऊपर कि और दोनों हाथ उठा कर कहा,” हे भगवान! आपका बहुत-बहुत धन्यवाद, आपका प्यार इंसानों के दिलों और हाथों द्वारा न जाने कहाँ- कहाँ फैल चुका है.”

Tintumon called FM radio & said
“I’ve found a purse with Rs.15000/- a credit card & an ID card of Mr.Mani, No.13,Halls rd,kannur….
Radio jocky : How honest ….so you want to return his purse…?
Tintumon : no……. i just wanted to dedicate a sad song for him…

Father and tintumon were standing in front of the tiger’s cage at the zoo.
The father was explaining how ferocious and strong tigers are, and tintumon was taking it all in with a serious expression.
“Dad,” tinumon said finally, “if the tiger got out of his cage and ate you up …”
“Yes, son?” the father said expectantly.
“What bus should I take home?” Tintumon finished.

Tintumon was asked to write a sign board for the traffic near the school.
He wrote”Drive carefully! Don’t kill the students, wait for the teachers”

The principal was annoyed by the noise during the assembly program.
“There seem to be several idiots in the auditorium this morning,Wouldn’t it be better to hear one at a time?”
Tintumon shouted, “Okay – you start.”
